Time: 8-10pm
Place: Yonkers P.A.L.

Suburbia Roller Derby (SRD) is Westchester County, New York's only women's flat track roller derby league. Founded in June 2007 by Slim Fast and Suffah Kate, two former CT RollerGirls, the league is made up of 2 travel teams--the Suburban Brawl and Backyard Bullies--who represent us in the WFTDA East Region, and 3 intraleague-play home teams--the Indian Point Sirens. Botoxic Avengers and Country Clubbers. Our players range in age from just over 20 to over 50, and hail from all over Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Northern NJ, Connecticut and NYC. Off the track, we’re business owners, educators, students, artists, executives, health care professionals and stay-at-home moms. As a league, we call two Yonkers venues home. We spend the cold winter months practicing and bouting in the warmth of the Police Athletic League (PAL), then move our dog and pony show to EJ Murray’s Memorial Skating Center (Murray’s) for the warm months.
To provide a healthy, safe environment (both emotionally and physically) for women, ages 18+, to learn and play the sport of flat track roller derby in Westchester County, NY.
Take a little road trip with the Backyard Bullies across a bridge or through a tunnel. Head over to Morristown NJ for a little Bullies fun.
